Emma from Mogendoura Farm

Meet Emma from Mogendoura Farm. Emma sells her beef products Belted Galloway cattle every Tuesday at Moruya Farmers Market.

We especially like the fact that the sausages they make are salt-free. They're delicious!

High wind day - dust part 3

Recently we had an extremely windy day. At first I thought the strange sky was bushfire smoke, but it was not - just our precious topsoil blowing off. With Australia's very fragile soils, the loss of topsoil through land clearing and development is a major concern.

The footbridge across Saltwater Creek, Rosedale

Saltwater Creek ends in the lagoon at Rosedale Beach which opens to the sea after heavy seas and storms allow a channel to be opened. The footbridge allows access between South and North Rosedale.

Medieval battles by the sea

The Society for Creative Anachronism began in Berkeley, California in 1966. Now there are groups worldwide. Last Saturday, groups in the "Southern Adora" [Illawarra] area held a Tourney By The Sea and feast at Malua Bay.

Meet Jackie at Mogo

Jackie runs a terrific shop at Mogo, called Revamp, Reuse, Upcycle. She sells old wares to reuse, Australian made chalk and milk paints for revamping and all manner of fascinating bits and pieces.

I used paints from here to revamp a weary looking outdoor table and chairs.

Train set, Malua Bay

Many people like to play with train sets. Not many people devote their front and side yard to one!
