Leaving Batemans Bay (31 Dec 2019)
Leaving our house after bushfire warning. (Dec 31, 2019)
We received a text message at 6 am saying it was emergency level warning, and this was the last chance to leave. We had packed the night before, so it was just a matter of final arrangements, shutting the door and heading north to Sydney.

Bushfires north of Batemans Bay (24 Dec 2019)
We headed north to Sydney for Christmas and drove through areas already ravaged by bushfire.

Hot, dry and smoky. Bushfires coming. (18 December 2019)
Starting in about November 2019 there were bushfires in the South Coast of NSW. The smoke was constantly present, and areas to the north of Batemans Bay had already been burnt.
