Rainbow lorikeets - backyard visitors
For the past few weeks, rainbow lorikeets have been frequent backyard visitors, along with a whole host of other birds.
These busy, chattery little birds are pretty adept at bullying - both other birds and their own kind. They love feeding on the foliage and blossoms of native shrubs and trees, and will raid ripe fruit.
